As an engineering intern your responsibilities will include but not be limited to AutoCAD drafting, inspection data entry, and a variety of entry level engineering inspection and design tasks with potential for limited field work. Applicant should be a junior or senior and meet the following criteria: proficient in AutoCAD, strong technical writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, interest in structural engineering, interest and experience working around the waterfront is a plus, GPA of 3.5 or better. This position will provide valuable experience in a dynamic, small business consulting firm with worldwide projects and expertise.
AME is seeking a full-time engineer possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with between 0 and 3 years of experience. Duties will include drafting, technical report writing, cost estimating, and design/analysis. The candidate will work closely with experienced waterfront structural engineers with opportunities for mentorship and growth. Prior experience in and around the waterfront is preferred.
AME is seeking a full-time ADCI-certified commercial diver possessing a high school diploma at a minimum. An Associate’s degree or further education in science and math beyond high school is preferred. The position requires commercial diving to support engineering inspections, above water field work, and supporting office duties with opportunities to learn AutoCAD.
AME is seeking a full-time engineer-diver possessing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering as well as an EIT certificate. This candidate is expected to possess diving experience and ADCI commercial certification.
Waterfront Structural Engineer:
AME is seeking a full-time engineer possessing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and a PE license. Minimum qualifications include 5 – 8 years of waterfront engineering experience focused on the structural design of commercial waterfront facilities. Candidate should have a working proficiency in RISA3D or a similar finite element structural analysis software program.
